At what age should a child start school?

I saw this video on a blog I read recently. It was eye opening, so to speak. Enjoy! ^ ^

New Science Videos Link Added

http://thekidshouldseethis.com/

From the Author of the Site: "There’s just so much science, nature, music, art, technology, storytelling and assorted good stuff out there that my kids (and maybe your kids) haven’t seen. It’s most likely not stuff that was made for them…
But we don’t underestimate kids around here.
Smart, conversation-starting, “not-made-for-kids, but perfect for them” videos that you can watch together, curated by Rion Nakaya with help from her 3 & 6 year olds."

If this is useful to your students, please let me know. I try to put links in that will be useful to a large variety of students. Feedback is very appreciated.

New Site!

Woodward English has been added to our links section!

Learn Grammar rules and then apply them in an interactive game.

I am rating this site for ages 12 and up, but younger children do well in a setting with a parent's guidance.  I am excited about this site because it is strongly emphasizes using proper speech and sentence structure.

Remember, if you aren't having fun, you aren't learning anything positive that you will want to pursue later.  So have fun, and establish a lifetime of learning for your family!

Added A Link and Making Changes

How to Write A Book Report has been added to the links section in the form of "Book Report, How to Write One".

I am planning to go through the links, updating and deleting many that have not proven especially useful or interesting to my own children. Please be sure to bookmark those that you like, just in case they will not be included in the new listing.

Thank you for your patience.
